Check-in: Entrance is at the small door next to the large overhead door. Please check in at the registration table in the barn aisle. Arriving prior to the start of the clinic recommended so that you can get settled before lessons begin. Pre-registration for this clinic would also be a huge help to to help us get people into the arena as efficiently as possible. Walk-ins are welcome on Friday & Saturday. Weather:  We know that the weather in Michigan can change dramatically… bitter cold one day, balmy the next. The arena is heated to a temperature of 50 - 54 degrees, but please still plan to dress dress warmly, as you'll be sitting most of the time and not moving around.

Please plan on wearing layers – long underwear, warm socks, gloves, sweater, winter jacket, a scarf to keep your neck warm, and most importantly a warm hat (90% of body heat is lost from the head).  If your core is warm, your fingers and toes will probably stay warm.  A blanket to wrap yourself in can also help raise the comfort quotient!

Seating: Please bring your own folding chairs/seating.

Parking: Parking is in lot surrounding barn, making best use of space available. Please do not park in front of horse trailers or block in cars. If you need assistance, please come into the barn and we'll help.

Directions:  Address of Lakeshore Performance Horses: 1630 65th Street, Fennville, MI, 49408 to Mapquest or Google directions.  Note: Sometimes Google will send you onto Blue Star from 196; that was is not recommended in the winter. My GPS insists I've "arrived at my destination" on 65th Street when I come from 118th. If you don't see big red barns on the east side of the street, you are not there yet - just keep going down 65th another .5 miles or so.

Easy directions from US 196/31:

From North: Take exit 30; turn left/east and go over highway overpass. In about .2 miles, turn right on to 116th (it's the first street you come to; there's a yellow street sign). Go 1.5 miles (you'll go through the stop sign at the 66th Street interesection) to 65th Street and turn left. You'll see the red barns on the left as you approach 65th Street, which only turns to the left. LPH is the first driveway on the left.

From South: Take exit 30 (Glenn/Ganges); turn right/east. In about .2 miles, turn right on to 116th (it's the first street you come to; there's a yellow street sign). Go 1.5 miles (you'll go through the stop sign at the 66th Street interesection) to 65th Street and turn left. You'll see the red barns on the left as you approach 65th Street, which only turns to the left. LPH is the first driveway on the left.

Sound System: The indoor arena has a sound system so that auditors will easily be able to hear Herr Seiberl instructing students.

Food/beverages: Hot chocolate, coffee and tea as well as snacks and lunch will be available for purchase at the clinic.

Video taping/photography:  Sorry, no taping or pictures of lessons unless acting on behalf of the rider in the lesson. Taking notes is encouraged.

Indoor bathrooms & showers are available.

No smoking in the barn, indoor arena, or observation room. Please smoke only outside.

Dogs/pets: sorry, no dogs/pets at the clinic.
